2. Where to find my vacuum cleaner reference and my battery technical index?

To find the vacuum cleaner reference, you must look under your product after removing the battery.
Vacuum cleaner reference (8 first digits): for instance, in this picture: RH99F1WO

Some products are under “TEFAL” or “OBH”, do not consider the brand name, only the vacuum cleaner reference.

The technical index is placed on the top of your battery.
Technical Index (3 digits): for instance, in this picture: 4Q1

Remember, the battery may not contain any technical index (select "XXX").

3. How to register my claim?

Go to the recall webpage whether on TEFAL, ROWENTA, or OBH depending on your country.

  • Select your language and your country
  • Enter the vacuum cleaner reference and the technical index battery, if you do not have any technical index battery, select “XXX”
  • If your product is concerned follow the information on the page
  • The webform allows to send you a new battery(ies), please enter all the requested information, necessary for the proper sending. The information requested on this page is only used to send you a new battery(ies).

Once you have done this, you should receive an email confirming the correct registration of your case. Now, you can wait until the new battery(ies) arrive.

4. What will happen after I register?

After your registration, you will receive a confirmation email, and the battery will be delivered within 10 to 12 business days. Your case number is written in the email confirming your registration.

Your tracking number will be sent to you by email or SMS once your package has been picked up by the delivery company.

5. What is the problem exactly?

The problem identified with the battery involves potential risks of overheating which can lead to safety issues when using the product. We would like to reassure you that we are taking all necessary measures to resolve this issue and ensure your safety. Please follow the instructions provided to replace the battery free of charge.

6. Can I use my product with the old battery until the new one arrives?

For safety reasons, we recommend not using your product until the new battery has been replaced. Please register your case through our portal to receive a new battery at no cost.

7. What shall I do with the original battery, what is the risk with the batteries?

The original battery should not be used due to potential overheating risks. We recommend safely disposing of it following local battery disposal guidelines. The replacement battery will ensure safe and continued use of your product.

8. How long is the delivery time for the battery?

The delivery time for the replacement battery typically ranges from 10 to 12 days. If you experience any delays or issues after this period, please reach out to our consumer support for assistance. You must provide your case number, which is included in your order confirmation email.

9. How to change a battery?

Changing the battery involves removing the old battery and installing the new one as per the instructions provided in the replacement package.

10. What will be the warranty on the vacuum cleaner and the new battery(ies)?

If your vacuum cleaner is under warranty, it remains until its initial end date.

If your vacuum cleaner has exceeded its warranty, only the replaced battery(ies) will benefit from a 6-month warranty. The acknowledgement of receipt email for your case will serve as a proof of battery exchange.

11. How do I deal with the situation if I have multiple vacuum cleaner?

If you have multiple vacuum cleaner Concerned by the recall, please contact our consumer service team.

12. What do I have to select when we bought the vacuum cleaner with 2 batteries inside?

If your vacuum cleaner contains 2 batteries at the time you bought it, you should click on the first button "I bought a X force flex 14.60 / 15.60 cordless vacuum cleaner". The product reference will be detected, and you will receive 2 batteries.

13. How to select a delivery to a pickup point after ordering?

When you receive your tracking number for the replacement part by email or SMS, you will be able to choose to delivery to a pickup point as an alternative to suit you. Please note when you select this option from the tracking message, you will be redirected to the carrier website, where you can make this request to a location closest to you.
